With Nikki Silva and Davia Nelson (The Kitchen Sisters) and radio producers, artists, historians, archivists, and the public broadcasting community, we wanted to create a memorial without the strictures of height, length, or width—a home for memories of buildings that no longer exist. It is a place where all can mourn, honor, remember, and contribute; a place to keep history alive.
